Crediting original reporting

When a development was first reported by another publication, we name that publication in the story and link to the original report. The link is provided with a nofollow attribute as a matter of routine practice, not as a comment on the source's quality.

Our copy is our own

We publish original summaries and analysis written for our readership. We do not reproduce third-party articles in whole or in substantial part.

Quotations

Direct quotations are limited to short, clearly marked extracts and are always attributed to the speaker and the publication or document in which they appeared.

Data and statistics

Market data, indices, inventory figures and freight assessments are credited to the issuing exchange, agency, price reporting agency or authority. We do not present third-party assessed prices as our own.

Images

Photographs are used only where licensing permits. Credits appear in the caption. Generated illustrative images are labelled in our internal media records and credited to Atlas.

Publishers who believe a story over-relies on their reporting can contact editorial@atlascommoditygroup.com. We review such requests promptly and will amend, shorten or remove material where warranted.
