Metso Awarded Contract for Simberi Gold Project Expansion Equipment

Metso has been selected to provide significant process technology packages for the expansion of the Simberi Gold Project. This development focuses on the New Simberi Gold Project, located in Papua New Guinea. The scope of the supply agreement covers multiple critical stages of mineral processing.

The delivered technology suite includes essential grinding equipment. Grinding is a fundamental step in mineral processing, reducing ore particle size to liberate valuable minerals for subsequent recovery. This process is crucial for optimizing downstream operations and overall resource efficiency.

Further components of the supply package encompass flotation systems.
